Bit of Health and Aesthetic Beauty in Cranberry Tea

Drinking Green Tea, Cranberry Tea | Workplace Discussions
Green Tea by a brand called, TE-A-ME. The flavor was intriguing, named Cranberry, and it instantly reminded me of Cranberry flavored Bacardi Breezer

Quick Observations:

  • This green tea is actually red, the shade almost identical to the cranberry and alcohol confectionary that is bottled in the Bacardi stuff. Visually, more appealing than any other herbal or green tea concoction available these days
  • Tastes nice, without being overwhelming. Unlike some other green teas, it does not have that typical herbal or floral essence which I sometimes find obtrusive. The reddish hue is leaked immediately and its darker every time to dip the dipper
  • The flavor is very balanced, does not coat your tongue in a way that anything you might eat along loses its actual taste

Portion of My Dreams Captured in Images Borrowed Online

I am sharing some images that connect with some of the purest thoughts I have had for a long time. There is something very unadulterated about these images. For me, it is also about a distant dream that I believe most men my age often have – a big wooden house, surrounded by plush greens, days spent under the sun, working hard, returning to a warm house and a nurturing wife with your son playing in the backyard with woolly, massively-built dogs. Yes, there are some well-documented truth about dreaming patterns but this is just one man's story so far and the patterns here are not that well-connected. Well not of all of is the usual visuals all men have – many ingredients of this list are exclusive to me. These images capture a small bit of this thought that is close to my heart. In some way, this is also about things I yearned to have been a part of my childhood. Try to zoom in on the expressions of the canines, sometimes extremely silent and stoic in these stills but there is something about their faces that says a lot…

Just Some Fleeting Thoughts about ‘Could Have Been Better’

Regrets, Marriage | Talking About Life
I have been constantly cutting out the psychological flab that tends to weigh heavily in my mind. Just like unwanted adipose deposits, these feelings of regret and not getting the chance of redemption can kill your spirit, downright bury it so deep that you find the daily routine too hard. The progress has been good. I have let go, forgotten, forgiven, and embraced most things in my life.

However, every now and then, some momentary thoughts do surface when I hear about someone getting hitched. Yes, marriage-related discussions, no matter how short or long don't make me nostalgic. Instead, a feeling dwells that things could have been done a lot better. In the months following my tying-the-knot moment, I realized that my limited social interactions had taken another bite without my realization…a bite from my pie of happiness.

Have You Used Self-created Pinch Points to Handle Anxiety?

GERD, Harming Yourself | Anxiety Help
This discussion will not make sense to everyone, simply because only someone from GERD, like me, can understand how debilitating Anxiety can become...it can literally derail your life and single-handedly decide your overall health status. Over the years of dealing with Anxiety, I have come across many Anxiety-management tools, some free resources and others, obesely priced for no apparent reason. While meditation does work it is not meant for me. Why? My mind tends to wander and ruminate a bit too much. I came across one lifestyle article nearly 3 years back and put the tip to practice - using a pinch point every time you felt that a sudden bout of Anxiety was coming. Yes, you can feel it like a wave of coldness, a wiry thing that feels against your skin, traveling from your upper shoulder area to your head. The trick is simple. Grab hold of something that can pinch you for good. Something like a key does the trick for me.

That Thing You Do, 'You' Being Macaroni

Macaroni by Moha | Life at Workplace
My wife gives a new twist to nearly every type of food out there - yes, she can cook most things people find at snack stalls and famous eateries. However, it is her Macaroni that is perhaps the best example of personalizing the taste, giving some Indian tadka to it, blending it with her expertise and creating something that is outright exotic!

What makes it special? For starters, the sheer volume of thinly chopped veggies. I believe it is the lack of semi-fried vegetables that makes many food items fare averagely. My wife's version of Macaroni is overwhelmed with veggies, chopped to perfection, thin slices that crunch and texture-up the dish perfectly.

Why is winter dressing about Greys, followed by fanaticism for Black and Deep Blues?

why is winter dressing always so boring

It is very wintry in Delhi, and all around me, including at my office, people are finding their way on the road, and folks behind the steering wheel are dressed up, creating layers to insulate them against the chill. However, my floating observation led me to a realization – there is an overkill of Grey colored clothing; even the accessories are overdone in shades of blue and black. From what I can fathom, Winters can be somewhat depressing. Some folks suffer from winter-induced clinical depression too, but overall, the season is about Christmas, New Year, and plans & resolutions. The monotony of these shades is a big contrast to the feel-good vibes that come with loving every sip of coffee, that feeling of warmth that coats your throat every time you pounce on dark chocolate. My winter wardrobe is as colorful as it can get without getting weird.

2018 Diet Trend is about eating CEREAL for dinner?

2018 Diet Trends - Eat Cornflakes, Muesli, Dried Fruits
There has been a lot of noise about what type of diet trends grabbed attention in 2017. Personally, I stay away from reading too much into this. Every year, some fad surfaces and then, for no reason, it suddenly disappears, leaving the followers in limbo. However, yesterday I came across one thing that sounded interesting, logical, and doable. This is about eating cereal for dinner. It might be a pleasant coincidence, but I have already been doing this for nearly 10 days, long before I read this trend on Yahoo Lifestyle. My reasons for following this regime are completely different. For me, recovering from the recent bout of Jaundice has taken precedence over taste or a detailed supper.

Are your dreams always wintery?

Funny Dog - Dreaming About Winters
This is a bit strange and somewhat personal – I tend to dream very sporadically, and within the realm of visuals that my mind sketches, there is always a preference for winter as the background. As long as I am dreaming about having turned into a father, raising a family, the retirement years, or feeling good about my financial might, the landscape is always an extreme winter. Really cannot understand the reason for this. There is nothing special I have achieved this time of year. In fact, the last two winters have been rather hard on me, financially, health-wise, and from an emotional perspective.

Even when the mind ruminates about how I can make my mother’s last year happier, the setting is always cold, with the temperatures dipping rather drastically. When dreaming about my imaginary baby son, whom I would love to call JUNIOR, the setting is the same – the boy-toy is dressed in cute, costume-like woolens. During schooling years, winters were about studying a lot and preparing for exams – not exactly a wonderful thing to register in your subconscious. Twice, during the winter, we lost some dearly loved family members. The grounds for some degree of domestic trouble in my household also rooted themselves during cold climatic conditions. I have one theory to explain this, but it isn’t exactly great, i.e., my hatred for the summer season is so acute that its exact opposite is portrayed by my mind when I dream – does that make sense?

Lately, I have realized that I tend to dream more about winter settings when I am happier, when I am receptive to happier thoughts. For the longest time, I dreamt of having a winter home somewhere in the hills. I often dreamt of tucking in my bedridden mother at nighttime, wishing her good night. However, the reality is that I lost my mother recently, in 2026, and never got the opportunity to make either of the dreams come true - could never manage a winter home, never took care of my mom the way I should have, and never got to tuck her in. This is life perhaps - what was once a comforting vision and a thought has now transformed into a type of regret.

Is this strange? Do your dreams have a seasonal preference?

No Monkeying Around: Are you eating a banana or hot dog?

Eating Hot Dog | Funny Monkey
Call me crazy for observing and commenting about the smallest things that happen around me but the fact is that I just cannot help it. A few days back, I saw this guy perched on a small slab like thing along the road, eating a banana. There is nothing serious or wrong about consuming a fruit that is extremely high on carbs, potassium and sodium and is known to help people relax better and sleep. However, there was something odd about the way in which he was holding the banana, fully peeled, held horizontally, just like we eat hot dogs. I have seen many members of the ape family, particularly monkeys, eat their banana in a manner that is far more groomed, peeling away the fruit and eating it one or two bites at a time.

Sugarcane or Cane Juice – the Natural Detox??

Funny Dog Pice Canine Humor Image
Fasting + Raw Sugarcane Juice can be a Detox Savior
If you have been reading my blog, you must have come across my struggles with Jaundice or Hepatitis A. Turns out that Sugarcane Juice is the best among natural therapies to help the liver get rid of the toxins that tend to accumulate when your liver is affected by this disease. To make it more effective, you need to squeeze one lemon into one big glass of Sugarcane Juice and drink it up to three times a day. Please understand that recovery after Jaundice is about preventing relapse, and for this, you need some form of natural liver support - jaggery juice does this beautifully!

DIY Detox with Sugarcane Juice | Better Liver Health

The only issue is that diabetics cannot do this for far too long, as Sugarcane Juice is rather sweet, loaded with natural sugars. If you cannot find Cane Juice that easily, you might want to get hold of a box full of jaggery. It is easily and cheaply available and is essentially a byproduct of sugarcane production. I have not been able to consume Sugarcane Juice regularly, as the only stall that sells it, along with the promise of hygiene, is rather far away – nearly 10 km! I am sticking to consuming more blocks of jaggery throughout the day. Suppose you Google ‘benefits of jaggery’. In that case, you will come across long, bulleted lists that talk about how it helps to raise the metabolic rate, cleanses the liver, helps in detox, calms the intestinal lining, and provides you with an instant shot of energy. In fact, it is also recommended as a natural aphrodisiac, and it is damn cheap! The irony lies in the fact that the smallest bit of contamination in sugarcane juice extraction can bring you down with Typhoid - jaggery juice breaks down really quickly. This is particularly true in moist, humid, and hot conditions. Fresh juice is a booster for bedroom performance, too. Now it is winter, and I don't have the liberty to drink fruit juices. Most of them irritate my throat. So, I am loading up on Gudd or Jagger blocks, as some of you fancy folks might call it. This is as close as I can get to a steady dose of a body-cleansing jaggery product without risking my health or my throat.

Sugarcane Juice and Liver Health: Natural Support, Benefits, and Safe Use

Sugarcane juice is presented as a food-based way to support liver function by helping the organ process toxins more efficiently and restoring internal balance. The article frames its benefits around detox support, hydration, and digestive regulation, noting that its mix of vitamins, antioxidants, and electrolytes may assist the liver’s workload during stress or mild dysfunction. It also describes how the juice’s potassium content can stimulate digestive activity and ease issues linked to bile stagnation or inflammation. Practical guidance centers on drinking a fresh, hygienically prepared glass of cane juice up to several times per week, with more frequent intake suggested during periods of liver strain. The author encourages selecting clean vendors or preparing the juice at home due to quick fermentation and contamination risks. Caution is advised for individuals with diabetes, kidney conditions, or cardiac concerns. While the discussion leans on traditional reasoning and general nutritional attributes rather than clinical evidence, it positions sugarcane juice as a supportive complement to—not a substitute for—professional medical care.

Sugarcane Juice vs. Commercial Sports Drink: Effects on Cycling Performance and Recovery

The 2013 study compared ingestion of sugarcane juice, a commercial carbohydrate-electrolyte sports drink, and plain water in 15 male athletes cycling at 70% VO₂ max until exhaustion. The sugarcane juice trial resulted in significantly higher blood glucose levels during and after exercise than the sports drink or water, yet there were no significant differences across the three fluids in total exercise time, heart rate, blood lactate, or plasma volume. From the recovery period onward, the authors inferred that sugarcane juice may provide comparable performance benefits during exercise and possibly superior post-exercise glycogen resynthesis compared to the sports drink or water. However, the experiment was conducted in moderately controlled conditions (<30 °C) and measured short-term effects only, limiting broader conclusions about endurance or varied environments.

Sugarcane Juice for Sexual Health: Natural Support for Energy, Circulation & Vitality

The article presents fresh sugarcane juice as a traditional remedy for enhancing sexual wellness by supplying readily available energy, supporting circulation, and reinforcing reproductive tissue according to Ayurvedic principles. It explains that the natural sugars, minerals (such as potassium, magnesium, folate, and iron), and enzymes in sugarcane juice may assist stamina, hormonal balance, and vitality for both men and women. For men, the juice is described as potentially aiding sperm quality, motility, and recovery; for women, it is portrayed as supporting hormonal-endocrine regulation, fertility factors, and “yoni-nourishing” effect. Guidance is given on how to consume the juice (freshly pressed, moderate volume, ideally before intimacy or in the morning), and combining it with complementary herbs is suggested. The piece emphasises that while sugarcane juice is a light, natural adjunct for sexual vitality, it is no substitute for medical treatment and should be consumed in moderation with attention to freshness and individual health conditions.

How Sugarcane Juice Supports Liver Health: Nutrients, Detox & Recovery

The article argues that fresh sugarcane juice may help support liver health by aiding detoxification, restoring nutrient balance, and promoting digestive regulation. It explains that sugarcane juice—rich in vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and manganese—may stimulate liver and bile-detoxification enzymes and contribute to a more alkaline internal environment, which the piece claims is less hospitable to cancer. It further suggests that the juice helps replenish proteins and electrolytes lost during liver stress (such as jaundice) and thus supports recovery by boosting energy and fluid balance. Finally, it describes how the potassium content may enhance digestive juice secretion and assist healing after liver or bile-related inflammation or blockage. While the article positions sugarcane juice as a complementary dietary aid, it includes a medical disclaimer that it does not replace professional treatment.
