Review The Farm horror movie on Youtube
The Farm is not your regular slasher movie. In fact, it is unlike any of the slasher-slaughter movies you might have seen. So, you might wonder, what makes it worth the recommendation? Honestly, nothing as such! Easy to access on YouTube, this horror genre movie is instantly accessible via such linksbut please don't watch it for the body horror special effects. Overall, the level of gore is more suggestive than something that will make your stomach churn. This is not Hostel or The Human Centipede, but a very restrained form of body horror storytelling. At no point does The Farm grab attention with body-slashing special effects. It is the theme of the movie that gets to you. Just consider human beings raised on a farm, against their will, and treated as animals. The vegetarians might instantly call out that such content needs to be shown to sensitize people about the horrors of animal husbandry, but I guess anybody can watch the movie without being asked about their dietary preferences. The movie borrows many horror-genre ideas, including human subjugation, captive horror, lactating crimes, and human meat as a product. It blends all of these into one quick storytelling format. I believe it's quick because there is no real build-up to the story. There is no emphasis on explaining the reasons people do something so hideous. The Farm YouTube movie is without regrets or explanation. The first aspect of this movie that will make you not explore another title is the music. It gets to you from the first scene itself. The background score is creepy and twisted, and it evolves and adapts as the story gathers some momentum. To me, the background music sounded like a blend of creaky dark sound effects associated with the best of Japanese horror content of the early 2000s, with some countryside-type laidback score. Putting it together, the sounds were beautifully rendered, and during the high-anxiety escape scenes, the background score is intentionally missing. The scenes shift from the human husbandry farm raising folks to the victims, and there is literally hardly a line spoken among those who are breeding humans for their milk, skin, and meat. This is a quick watch and something you can grab when seated in the backseat of the car or when traveling comfortably without driving. The Farm, the horror movie, won't make it to your bookmark or recommendation list. Watch it for the sheer curiosity of finding out how a little-known director presents his style of storytelling, where human body parts are scattered without any fuss, and there aren't any kill sequences. Just consider what would happen if contemporary body horror genre movies were slowed down by a couple of notches and never tried to explain the sickness that makes people do such things. This is not a good recommendation if you are going out on a road trip or the travel route takes you through lonely patches. In many ways, The Farm rekindles the fears of traveling along the less-frequented highways.
